She's really gorgeous... wouldn't she feel cold, poor cutie? :P
But I really like how she can reprehesent perfectly the winter, with her cold breath, and her pearly dress, with snowy-white laces and gloves, and that her long white misty skirt :)

Nice, she looks great. the backround is kindda pixily though, but it's definatly an awsome picture. Love how she hangs over the edges, thats pretty awsome >w<

Ooh, love how the warm colors of the girl contrast with the monotone of the background. Chilly cool. :D

Yea, I'm still trying to get used to the absolute-drawn picture pasted on photo thing. Ahaha. Thanks for the insight, though : )

Hahahahaha. . . maybe I'll just reupload the photos so they're as huge as the screen and resize from there. All of my photos were uploaded on photobucket, and quite frankly, they resized them all. So then I had to re-resize them. Plus I have an old dig cam.

Maybe I'll bug you for permission to use some stock pics one day. Ahah... *_*;

you dont need permission ;o. ahahah like id say no to a friend =P. yeah photo bucket unfortunately resizes automatically =\. im not sure if there are any decent sites that do hold photos. you could possibly upload them to scraps on DA and then transfer them from there? If theres a photo of mine you want to do feel free to ask for some D=. their not that good anyway haha.

Wow! Amazing. The color on the grayscale background looks *awesome*

Your shading looks so good! How do you do it?

Thank you very much! The drawing was done in Paint Shop Pro v7.0 using the paintbrush tool. I first shaded parts I wanted in solid (so hardness 100% and opacity 100%, the size varies with my patience level, lol). Then I put the hardness down to 0% and the opacity from 25-50%, ranging with the various sizes, to "soften" it out and blend it to the base color. From there it was just little touch-ups that I didn't want to shade with solid.

Bah. Sorry for going all haywire with the explanation - I'm not much of an explaining person, lol.

You're very welcome. Thanks for the rundown! I'm trying to get better at shading, it just doesn't seem to want to cooperate with me. :(
